This night turning to day is void of sound. No scrabble of bird feet on the tin roof. Just an intermittent crescendo of hurrying wind. Winter is a bore and thoughts turn to what will in a few short months be an early morning cacophony. Take pleasure in the quiet, marvel in its emptiness. Soon a cathedral of voices will fill the light of new day.
